Online Safety

Working in partnership with our parents is paramount for our children to be happy and confident learners. In order to support this relationship, we will share resources for parents here. Parental engagement is crucial in making sure children receive consistent online safety messages at home and at school.

Online Safety is discussed in school through Computing, PSHE, assemblies and Safer Internet Day. Please find some useful resources for you to continue the conversation at home with your child.

Smartphone Free Childhood

We held an information session for parents to share information relating to the Smartphone free childhood movement. Please see below a link to the slides for those of you who are interested but were not able to come along. As we shared in the meeting, we want to stress that smartphones act as lifesaving, essential medical devices for a large number of children including those with Type 1 Diabetes. As a federation, we want to develop an understanding of this amongst our school community.
